I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and received my B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis, where I studied Chinese and Business. While working on business startups for the hip-hop musician Nelly as a student at WashU, I developed a passion for creating new ventures. I also competed as an NCAA track & field athlete and was selected to the school’s inaugural Skandalaris Entrepreneurship Program.
Following graduation, I moved to China and worked in Hangzhou and Shanghai and was a director and co-founder of multiple educational and environmental programs. After five years of experience in China, I went on to earn my MBA at the University of Michigan, Ross School of Business. I’ve continued to pursue my interests in education and social impact, consulting for non-profit organizations from both Detroit, MI and Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
A member of the National Eagle Scout Association, I understand the powerful role of a good teacher and mentor. I aspire to help students maximize their full potential and achieve their goals.
