I have evaluated graduate applications to programs housed under Carnegie Mellon University’s Civil and Environmental Engineering Department in recent years. As a Graduate Admissions Evaluator, I grade, rank, and give admissions recommendations to one of the top graduate engineering schools in the world. I also have experiences working with students as the Academic Advising Coordinator and as an instructor for a private university.
Education is my passion and there is nothing I love more than watching my students succeed. Part of my job as an Advisor is helping students know what it takes to be a competitive candidate for graduate school, and I have taught at both the high school and university levels in subjects such as Composition and College Readiness Skills. With nearly 10 years of experience in education administration and teaching, I am excited to use my insight to motivate and guide you into your dream school!
When I am not working, I can usually be found trail running or volunteering in my community. I have completed seven ultra marathons and often lead group trail runs. I also serve on the Board of Directors for two non-profit organizations and I am co-managing a project to make a historic building universally accessible.
