I’m currently pursuing my JD at Columbia Law School, where I received the Best in Class Award for Contracts and have been recognized as a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar for two years running. I developed my ability to craft exceptional applications when I applied to law school with only a degree from a middle-of-the-road state school and no full-time work experience; out of a graduating class of over 4000 students, I was one of only two who went on to study law at an Ivy League school. That same craftiness helped me secure a highly sought-after 1L Summer Associate position and multiple offers the following year. I realized I loved teaching when I began coaching high school debate, and since then, I’ve done as much of it as possible! I’ve had a great deal of experience tutoring students on subjects ranging from high school physics to the GMAT, and I’ve coached many students through the college and graduate school application process. In my free time, I love hanging out with my family and listening to music.
