As a senior resident who helps with admissions and recruitment at UC San Francisco, teaching and preparing students for medical training has been an invaluable part of my experience. Knowing how stressful and unique of a process it is, I have always worked diligently to explain it to others and support them through it. Most importantly, my passion lies in helping students find their voice.
As an undergraduate at UC San Diego I worked as a tutor at the Office of Academic Support leading workshops to help students excel in chemistry and calculus. I always tried to make it fun and engaging and would use props and food in my lessons as often as possible! As a mentor I also helped students navigate campus life and the stressors of academia. In medical school at UCLA, I worked for UCLA PREP and the Office of Outreach to coach undergraduates on their personal statements, applications, and how to choose medical schools to apply to that align with their values. I am also highly experienced in helping students who have had a more challenging or non-traditional path. I hope to make the application process transparent and achievable for every student I work with, and to set you up for a fulfilling career in medicine.
When I am not in clinic you can find me trying new restaurants, hiking, or biking across San Francisco. I love meeting new people and filling up my passport with stamps during my vacations.
