I attended Cornell University where I studied Human Biology and Nutrition in the school of Human Ecology. After graduating, I began my medical training at SUNY Upstate Medical University where I have completed my coursework requirements for my MD. I am currently an incoming Orthopedic Surgery resident.
I have been advising pre-medical students at various educational levels for the past 5 years. I enjoy sharing my experiences with prospective students with a passion for medicine. At Upstate, I personally interviewed applicants and have advised undergraduate students on how to strategically strengthen their applications and interview skills. I like to look beyond the scores and grades to find the unique qualities that drive one to pursue a career in medicine.
In my free time, I like going to the gym (cue the ortho jokes), playing basketball, and backcountry skiing. I LOVE cooking and will probably ask you about your own culinary expertise.
