I am the former Senior Assistant Director of Admissions at New York University, where I read applications for the College of Arts and Sciences and Liberal Studies programs. During my time at NYU, I served as head of the Dean’s Scholarship Committee, awarding students the school’s top scholarship for excellence in academics, extracurricular accomplishments and personal integrity. Prior to my work at NYU, I headed the Undergraduate Admissions Council at Harvard while I was a student there.
My specialty is Russian and European history, though I have taught classes in ancient, American, and world history. Additionally, I have tutored students in History, English, Writing, and Russian language over the past 12 years. I have worked with students applying to college formally and informally, helping them with their college choices, their essays, and their interview techniques.
In my free time, I love to engage in any sort of creative activity. I take tap dancing lessons, make jewelry, and love to sing.
