I received a BA in History with a minor in French from UCLA and graduated Phi Beta Kappa with Cum Laude latin honors. I am a Former Admissions Officer for UCLA Undergraduate Admissions with ten years of experience working in higher education. During my tenure, I evaluated thousands of applications for undergraduate admission, recruited students throughout California and conducted numerous workshops about the application process for UCLA and the University of California system.
I loved reading applications for undergraduate admission because each one gave me a brief and very personal glimpse into the student’s world. Their stories have transported me around the globe, awed me with their resilience, and inspired me with their passions. Most of all, I have seen how an impactful essay can tip the balances in an applicant’s favor. I’m excited about my position with InGenius Prep because I can use my knowledge as a former admissions officer to help students hone in on the traits and experiences that will make them strong applicants.
I love working one-on-one with students and helping them realize their dreams of attending college. I am grateful that I can use my expertise and experience as an admissions officer to help students and their families navigate the exciting and sometimes stressful college admissions process. Most of all, I know how much I loved my undergraduate experience, and I want to help students find the school that will be the right fit for them, so they can have the same fun and formative experience that I did.
In my free time, you will find me cheering on the Bruins at the Rose Bowl, testing out a Barefoot Contessa recipe, skiing down the slopes of Northstar at Lake Tahoe, or traveling with my husband.
