Formerly a Graduate Admissions Counselor for the University of Southern California Viterbi School of Engineering, I reviewed and issued decisions for an average of six thousand of the twenty thousand applications received each academic year. Recently, I completed my Master in Education Counseling at the University of Southern California as I prepare to further my work with students.
I have been counseling students at the secondary and post-secondary level for the past eight years, in the ares of: undergraduate and graduate admission (pre and post application), career development, academic advising, and undergraduate research. I have helped students select majors, develop fundamental skills that got them through the admission and job interviews, and transition smoothly from secondary to post-secondary education.
When I am not passionately helping students reach their goals, I spend time practicing the art of yoga, try new recipes, and cook for my friends and family.
