For over 12 years, I have worked in admissions at Columbia University including serving on the admissions committee for the MBA and Executive MBA programs at Columbia Business School and facilitating the admissions process and counseling applicants for Columbia’s School of Engineering and Applied Science. Within each of these roles my goal has been, and still is, to set each potential student up for success.
As the Director of Admissions for the School of Professional Studies, I oversee the application and application review processes for more than a dozen graduate programs, certificate programs, and high school and American language programs. My responsibilities include the creation and refinement of program-specific admissions rubrics and the evaluation of applications.
Graduate school is a large commitment. My wide range of experiences allow me to help match the right student to the right program at the right time. I see my role as an important one in this process and hope to help more students find the right fit for them.
I spend most of my free time with family and friends, usually doing activities centered around my two children. I enjoy watching them learn and grow just as I enjoy watching applicants I have worked with flourish during their studies and beyond.
