I have over 15 years of graduate school admissions experience at the University of Chicago, where I worked closely with students at their top-ranked Booth School of Business MBA program and Priztker School of Medicine. Throughout my tenure at University of Chicago I’ve held various positions including, Assistant Director Admissions and Associate Director of Diversity & Student Life at the Booth School of Business, and Director of Multicultural Affairs at Pritzker School of Medicine. For the last 15 years, I’ve been a part of an admissions team that worked to evaluate, interview, and admit candidates into their graduate programs. Beyond working closely with admissions, I have also worked with student leaders and alumni to help the campus community gain valuable experience outside the classroom.
I am the most fulfilled when working to advise non-traditional students in crafting their story for why they are interested in pursuing the MBA. There is no one size fits all approach to crafting the “right” story, what is most important is that you present your most authentic self. I like to work with students to help bring out their most authentic self in their stories.
During my spare time I enjoy listening to a wide range of music from classical and reggeaton to electronica and country. I enjoy staying active by playing sports with my three boys and looking for opportunities to stay physically fit by playing hockey or working out at a MMA gym.
