My higher education career path started abroad in Italy, where I taught Business English, TOEFL, and Intercultural Communications to university students seeking to study and work in the US. This also led to creating and managing Education programming partnerships between US universities and the Leonardo da Vinci Museum. Upon returning to the US after a decade overseas, I brought with me the skills and passion for helping students from all over the world to navigate the college application process, to allow students to shine among the competition and focus on their uniqueness.
This led to my Recruitment, Admissions Counselor, Diversity Officer, and Outreach Development Enrollment Manager roles at Stanford University, California College of Arts, and an international college preparatory high school. I have also consulted many professionals in their higher education and professional development endeavors. I enjoy the whole process from brainstorming potential college paths, to working with students, families, alumni and educators, to seeing the successful journeys my students make in the world. In my spare time, I volunteer with immigrant refugees transitioning to the US, coaching them in the college application and job placement process, and teach Italian as I love interacting directly with students.
