During my career, I have been fortunate to work at five outstanding universities/schools of business: New York University/Stern School of Business, The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign/College of Business, Columbia Business School, London Business School and The University of Hong Kong/School of Business. I’ve held senior executive positions at all these institutions: Associate Dean of Admissions, Financial Aid, Student Services and Alumni Affairs at NYU/Stern; Associate Dean of MBA programs at The University of Illinois and Assistant Dean of MBA Admissions at Columbia Business School.
Most recently as the Program Director of the Executive MBA (EMBA) Global Asia program, that was offered by Columbia Business School, London Business School, and The University of Hong Kong, I lived and worked for two years in Hong Kong. As a result of many years in higher education, I’ve read and reviewed more than 25,000 applications, conducted hundred of interviews, and offered admission to thousands of candidates.
What I enjoy most is working with and getting to know candidates and students from the US and around the world. This has given me the opportunity to learn about other cultures, sample many different cuisines and make new friends. I find it satisfying to help candidates select programs that are a “good fit,” assist them as they prepare their applications, and then join them in celebrating their success.
