I am currently a fourth-year medical student at Weill Cornell Medical College, taking a year off to pursue a research fellowship at the Hospital For Special Surgery in orthopedics. I graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Universty of Illinois with a BS in Biology as part of a direct admission of the 7-year BS/MD program. However, I applied out of the program to attend medical school at Cornell. Before starting school, I spent a year at the National Institutes of Health through a post-baccalaureate intramural research training award.
Teaching has always been a passion of mine. I’ve had a pretty extensive history of mentoring and tutoring over the last 10 years across all levels of schooling. I currently volunteer as an SAT tutor for New York public high school students through New York Cares. Through these experiences, I have loved having the opportunity to teach and connect personally with such a variety of students and help them get one step closer to realizing their goals.
When I’m not at work, you can find me exploring all the music New York City has to offer, watching all things on HBO, and being an obsessive Chicago sports fan.
