I am a former Admissions Counselor at Swarthmore College’s Admissions Office, where I served as the Regional Director for the Midwest and the state of Virginia. I first start working with admissions as a student interviewer at Swarthmore, my undergraduate alma mater. I very quickly developed a deep interest in exploring and understanding students’ directions and motivations, encouraging them to seek greater self-understanding so as to more clearly express and achieve their desired destination. Long after leaving Swarthmore’s admissions office, I sustained my interest in admissions by reading applications, interviewing students, and representing Swarthmore during my free time.
Presently, I am in Columbia University’s Post baccalaureate Premedical program; after medical school I intend to specialize in psychiatry, neurology, or perhaps neurosurgery.
In the free time that I have, you may find me hanging out with friends or family, traveling, playing guitar, reading, learning a new language, or possibly meditating. Wherever I am and whatever I’m doing, I’m always trying to learn something new.
