I am a higher education professional with over 20 years of experience and a strong belief in the value of, and access to, quality education. I possess extensive experience in graduate admissions, student affairs, and financial aid. For the last ten years, I have worked as Senior Assistant Dean for Student Affairs at Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs. In this position, I read applications for admission to our graduate programs. I also participate in domestic and international student recruitment. I enjoy working with prospective students on demystifying the admission process and providing help so they can present their best admission portfolio.
Prior to my position at Columbia SIPA, I served as Assistant Dean and Director of Admissions and Financial Aid at Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health for six years.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree from Columbia University, a Master of Arts in Higher Education from Teachers College at Columbia University, and a Doctorate of Education from the University of Pennsylvania.
