BA, English & Study of Women and Gender, Smith College

Hello everyone, I graduated cum laude from Smith College with a dual B.A. in English (High Honors) and the Study of Women and Gender. While at Smith, I received the Emogene Mahony Memorial Prize for the best critical English thesis, and the Norma M. Leas Memorial Prize for excellence in written English. I worked as a writing tutor at the Jacobson Center for three years, guiding students through writing academic papers, applying for internships, and developing time management skills. I love working directly with students and advancing a student's personal growth and academic improvement over time.

During my undergraduate career, I interned for the University of Massachusetts Press, an academic publishing company based in Amherst, MA, and worked for the Sophia Smith Collection, which is one of the largest women's history archives worldwide. After receiving a Kahn fellowship, I conducted original and interdisciplinary research on postcolonial Shakespeare adaptations with a team of academically diverse students and professors.

In my free time, you can find me hiking nearby trails in Connecticut, mastering new recipes in the kitchen, or playing with my dog, Mia.
