Adam Max is a Former Admissions Officer with InGenius Prep based in Colorado. Adam’s counseling style is student-centered, combining his direct admissions experience with strategic marketing expertise to help students stand out in the application process. Adam is the former Associate Dean of Admission at Emory University where, for 7 years, he directly evaluated applications and led teams in the holistic and selective admission process.
Adam graduated with a BA in Sociology and Psychology from Emory University. Then, before returning to the college admissions field, he received his MBA from the University of Texas’ McCombs School of Business, and worked in strategic marketing and market research leadership roles for General Mills. He then worked in Colorado as a branding consultant for Fortune 100 brands.
Adam’s return to the college admission process was driven by a goal to guide and support families in demystifying the admission process and helping students bring their best (and most differentiated) self to the journey. Ultimately with the goal of helping students find the right fit for this incredibly exciting time in their life, Adam helps to take the burden off the family so that these precious years can be enjoyed to the fullest.
