Alexej is an Ohio native and a graduate of Princeton University, where he earned a degree in Linguistics with certificates in Cognitive Science and Humanistic Studies. Alexej began his work in college admissions consulting immediately upon graduation from high school.
In other realms of education, Alexej has led the Speech & Debate team at a member school of the Eight Schools Association and the Ten Schools Admissions Organization. At Princeton, he was selected as a Peer Tutor in French, and an Educator at the Gender + Sexuality Resource Center.
Alexej is a passionate researcher in areas across STEM, social sciences, and humanities. He completed award-winning neuroscience research in the epilepsy center of a top-5 ranked hospital. Alexej has presented on Slavic literature, semiotics, and psychology at academic conferences and festivals at Princeton, and has been funded to attend Linguistics research institutes across the United States.
Alexej has also served as a research assistant for Princeton’s Program in Linguistics, working to study and preserve an endangered and undocumented Chadian language, creating resources for both the academic and speaker communities.
At InGenius Prep, Alexej is motivated to help students present their skills, interests, and accomplishments strategically, so that within the limited space of a college application students can demonstrate their full potential.
