I earned my Bachelor’s in Psychology Studies in Women and Gender from the University of Virginia, and later earned a Master’s in Experimental Psychology from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. Currently, I am a PhD student studying Education Policy at Columbia University, my alma mater of my second Master’s degree in Education Policy and Social Analysis. Upon entering my PhD degree, I became a Teachers College Doctoral Research Fellow.
Before I began my doctorate, I was a Teach For America Corps Member and quantitative researcher for the New York City Department of Education. My entire career has been dedicated to education and teaching. I have taught many types of students, including sixth grade sciences to undergraduate statistics. I love to support others with their academics, especially in persuasive writing!
In my free time, you can find me running through the streets of New York City, cooking, and spending time with my dog, Vinnie.
