Hello! I am a current Medical School Graduate Coach with InGenius Prep, based in Boston, Massachusetts. I received my undergraduate degree in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology (MCDB) from Yale University, where I worked in multiple labs developing highly-selective small molecule therapeutics for cancer, including one that pioneered a novel approach to induce the degradation of a given target.
From New Haven, I moved to Boston to pursue MD-PhD training at Harvard Medical School within the Health Sciences and Technology (HST) track and co-taught at Harvard and MIT. I’m currently in the midst of my graduate work, pursuing a PhD in immunology, with the aim of reprogramming T cells to make better immunotherapies for cancer. Clinically, I’m interested in hematology/oncology and hope to one day translate research findings to patients at the bedside and, similarly, take clinical insights back to the bench to further inform research in the lab.
Since applying to MD-PhD programs, I have helped a number of students in their journey to becoming successful applicants (and eventual matriculants) to MD, PhD, and MD-PhD programs! It has been an unbelievable pleasure to assist students – however possible – on their progression to graduate school, and it is my utmost aim to help students fully realize their potential as individual applicants. It is beyond gratifying to get to know students one-on-one not only as a coach, but ultimately as a friend throughout the process. Moreover, through “coaching” students one-on-one, it’s my prerogative to help demystify and de-stress the entire graduate (MD, PhD, MD-PhD) application process, from pre-application all the way through interviews, in order to support and continually motivate students in their goal to becoming a scientific/medical professional!
