D’Andrea Wright is a Graduate Coach with InGenius Prep based in Georgia. An accomplished educator with a rich background in mentoring and preparing students for college success, D’Andrea brings a well-honed skillset to the teams for which she serves as Graduate Coach. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English and Music from Wesleyan College, where she was classically trained as in opera. After her BA, D’Andrea earned a Master’s in Education from Western Governors University, deepening her understanding of educational strategies.
D’Andrea specializes in guiding students through the complexities of college admission, leveraging her extensive experience as a mentor for organizations such as Next Generation Men and Women in Atlanta, GA. Prior to joining InGenius Prep, D’Andrea transitioned from her role in public school teaching, where she excelled as a Grade Level Chair and teacher at various grade levels in Atlanta Public Schools and Fulton County Schools. Her commitment to educational excellence and advocacy is evident in her personal approach to student mentorship, focusing on the intellectual and social growth of her students.
D’Andrea is known for her excellent writing and her warm and supportive approach to college counseling. Her work is driven by a passion for creating transformative educational experiences that prepare students for their future academic and career achievements. Armed with extensive teaching and mentoring experience in classroom and one-on-one settings, D’Andrea is an asset to any student she works with.
