Hello! I am a Graduate Coach with InGenius Prep, based in New York, where I am pursuing my MPA at Columbia University.
I grew up in California and received my undergraduate degree from UC Berkeley in 2017, where I majored in Business Administration and minored in Education. Upon graduation, I kickstarted my career in the Cambodian tourism industry, managing a family-owned-and-operated destination management company of 25 people. As a focal point of both internal operations and external relationships, I oversaw end-to-end administrative and strategic activities. I also engaged with the Ministry of Tourism as a private sector representative on trade forums and overseas market development initiatives. In 2020, I pivoted to development consulting, covering over ten projects during my tenure. I have experience leading analysts in executing project objectives across multiple sectors and covering the entire workstream and responsibilities. Moreover, I established a network of industry experts and engaged leaders from all levels in the Cambodian government.
I have worked with students of different backgrounds on their college admissions process. At Berkeley, I worked closely with many student organizations in building a pipeline for students to explore higher education. I hosted resume building workshops and reviewed personal statements. I know how to help students understand their experiences and how to articulate their narratives. I then support them in communicating those messages through their personal statement. I am excited to work together, and I look forward to hearing your stories!
