About Diane Castillo

Diane Castillo is a Career Counselor with InGenius Prep. An adept molecular biologist, Diane is known for her vast expertise in NGS (next-generation sequencing) and lab operations, rooted in a comprehensive journey across the life sciences spectrum, from academia and start-ups to large-scale pharma. Her multidimensional experience has led to breakthroughs in novel characterization methods for CAR-T Cell drug products and the standardization of quality controls for global clinical sample sequencing. Holding a pivotal role in managing complex laboratory environments, Diane showcased her skills in strategic lab operations and supply chain management.

Diane has held several research positions throughout her career. She served in the lab at the Mount Sinai Icahn School of Medicine’s Department of Genetics and Genomics, at Ovation, and most recently at Bristol Myers Squibb. Her academic foundation, marked by a Mini-MBA from Rutgers University and a BS in Biology from The City College of New York, was further enriched by a prestigious research fellowship at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) where she delved into oncogene mechanisms. Published in respected journals and proficient in a diverse array of sequencing platforms, Diane is recognized for her innovation and leadership in the field of molecular biology.
