Dina Hegazy is a Graduate Coach with InGenius Prep and holds a Master’s in Elementary Education from The College of New Jersey, where she also earned her Teacher Certification. Her academic journey began with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Southern California (USC). As an international student at USC, Hegazy demonstrated determination and resilience while navigating the rigorous college application process for a Division 1 school. This experience deepened her understanding of the steps international students must take and equipped her with essential knowledge about the college application process. During her senior year, she served as the captain of the women’s swimming team, showcasing her leadership skills and dedication.
Hegazy understands the crucial connection between athletics, academics, and talent, which drives her commitment to help students excel in both areas. Her hard work earned her both athletic and academic scholarships. Currently, Hegazy serves as the K-5 Math Coordinator at an international school in Egypt, where she has played a vital role in assisting teachers to enhance their math teaching practices and develop comprehensive curriculum planning. Her previous experience as the Upper Elementary Literacy Coordinator at a respected American International School involved leading curriculum initiatives, data assessment, and school-wide planning. Additionally, she has integrated technology to support students in developing essential writing skills.
Beyond her teaching roles, Hegazy has contributed as a Teaching Assistant for The College of New Jersey’s Graduate Global Program, creating tutorials that assist graduate students in designing effective educational content. She has actively facilitated workshops, hosting numerous educational webinars and creating online tutorials aimed at improving teaching practices and digital learning integration. Hegazy is dedicated to guiding high school students through the college application process, leveraging her extensive experience and insights to empower them to achieve their academic and personal goals.
