Ecehan Yurukoglu is a Graduate Coach with InGenius Prep, based in Istanbul, Türkiye. She is a graduate of the German High School in İstanbul (Deutsche Schule Istanbul) and earned her BA in Political Science with a minor in Visual and Media Studies from Duke University, where she was an Alice M. Baldwin Scholar.
Ece graduated from Duke in 2021 with Distinction in Political Science for her undergraduate honors thesis. For her academic and social achievements, Ece was also recognized nationally as one of the top Turkish graduates in the United States in the Class of 2021.
While gaining acceptance to prestigious schools such as the London School of Economics and Political Science, she pursued her Masters at the University of Amsterdam, a globally top-ranked school in Communication and Media Studies. In 2023, she successfully completed the MSc Communication Science program at UvA, specializing in political communication.
Throughout high school, university, and graduate school, Ece has tutored students, faculty members, and friends in various subjects. From tutoring high school students in English to tutoring a Duke faculty member in German, she has developed strong communication, motivation, and developmental skills. Ece has also assisted many friends with their college/graduate school application essays, helping them gain admission to prestigious schools such as LSE, NYU, Stanford, and the Technical University of Munich.
As an internationally educated Graduate Coach with a global perspective, Ece focuses on the unique strengths of each student to help them become competitive applicants for top colleges in the United States. Her coaching empowers students to craft compelling and authentic narratives from their diverse backgrounds, tailored to resonate with top-tier admissions committees.
