Faith Northern is a Graduate Coach with InGenius Prep based in Irvington, NJ. As a PhD student and a professional in education, Faith brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to their role as a Graduate Coach. Faith earned a BA in Biochemistry, Educational Studies, and History from Vassar College. During their time at Vassar, Faith developed a passion for education research while working with nonprofit organizations, teaching race education to elementary students, and assisting in 6-12 and higher education classrooms. After graduating, Faith was accepted into multiple prestigious medical and graduate programs, including NYU’s Grossman School of Medicine and Rutgers Graduate School of Education.
Faith has experience as a Research & Teaching Assistant, Undergraduate Research Assistant, and Programming & Office Assistant. They have also worked as a Programming Assistant at SEEDS – Access Changes Everything.
Faith believes in a tailored approach to each student’s needs. They help students identify and build on their unique strengths, preparing them to stand out in the competitive application process. Faith understands that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to counseling, and their goal is to help students maximize their success by helping them identify and nourish qualities and attributes that will help them stand out during the application process. With their knowledge of the application process, Faith brings a structured and supportive approach to help students get into their ideal programs.
