Jayanne Forrest is a Graduate Coach with InGenius Prep based in New York. As a professional with experience in the humanities and the medical field, Jayanne brings a unique blend of academic excellence, mentorship experience, and a passion for education to her role. Jayanne graduated with honors from Columbia University, majoring in African American and African Diaspora Studies while completing the pre-medical track and earning her NY State EMT certification. She is now pursuing her MD at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. Jayanne now combines her knowledge and experience with her passion for education to help students realize their goals.
While at Columbia, Jayanne held various leadership roles, including Resident Advisor, peer health educator, and executive director of the National Residence Hall Honorary. She excelled academically, earning a place on the Dean’s List each year while also tutoring students in math and English and coaching debate students to numerous state and national championships. With a commitment to providing comprehensive feedback and guidance, Jayanne leverages her time in undergraduate and medical school admissions to help students navigate the complex college application process and ensure they have all they need to succeed in a hyper-competitive environment.
