Hello! I am a writer, director, teaching artist and Graduate Coach, originally from Atlanta, GA. I received my Bachelor of Arts from Vanderbilt University in Nashville TN where I double majored in English and Theater. During my time at Vanderbilt, I studied at the University of London and afterward worked with regional theaters including the Tennessee Repertory Theater and the Tony-award winning Alliance Theater. I studied film in Singapore at NYU’s Tisch Asia before attending Columbia University where I earned my MFA in Screenwriting & Directing. Since graduating I’ve been the recipient of many prestigious fellowships including the HUMANITAS Drama Prize, the HBO Writing Fellowship and the American Film Institute’s Directing Workshop for Women.
As a teaching artist in theater and film, it’s been a fulfilling experience to educate and guide developing artists. I’ve had the privilege of attending my dream schools at every level of my academic career, from New England prep school through graduate school, and it is rewarding to help others do the same. My passions have taken me around the world and back and are woven into my personal narrative. I look forward to helping students discover their passions and craft their unique personal stories.
In my free time I enjoy photography, poetry, and travel.
