Hi there! I am a Graduate Coach with InGenius Prep, based in Manhattan, New York. I completed my Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a concentration in Finance from Central University of Finance and Economics. I am currently pursuing a Master’s Degree of Financial Engineering at New York University in the Tandon School of Engineering.
I have diverse experience related to finance, programming and mathematics. While applying for my graduate program, I made full use of all resources I could have access to, revised my personal statement and resume countless times, and formed systematic methods for application paperwork. I think my biggest strength is tutoring, since I excel at knowing what students want, and how to help students properly develop their application. In addition to my application strategy experience, I interned in both primary market and secondary market. I served as a summer intern studying industry research, diving into quantitative research for nearly one year. I worked on machine learning, algorithm trading, strategy design, buy and sell side, securities, and private equity funds. I also conducted research and wrote a paper on systemic risk, which was published in the Journal of World Economy.
In my free time, I love to play Go (WeiQi), swim, read, cook, and spend time outdoors. You can also find me practicing violin, painting, and exploring restaurants in the city – Japanese and Mediterranean cuisine are my favorite!
