Hello! I’m a Former Admissions Officer at InGenius Prep. Having worked as a professional school admissions officer for over 40 years, I have read thousands of professional school applications for doctoral programs in dental medicine (DMD), optometry (OD), nursing (NP & PHD), and pharmacy (PharmD). I have advised hundreds of students, both domestic and international, in professional school application and student interview preparation. I have been a member and have chaired admissions committees in each professional program I have worked.
As a member of the Admissions Committee, I received student interview training and have trained faculty in best interview practices. I have traveled throughout the United States and Canada presenting, speaking, and counseling potential doctoral students. As a member of the National Association of Advisors for the Health Profession, I have participated in the NAAHP regional and national conferences staying current in pre-professional school advising and concerns. I have received recognition as a dedicated admissions officer from alumni associations and college/university administrations.
I received a Masters in Education from Cambridge College in Boston, MA with a concentration in counseling psychology and business management. My professional memberships have included; National Association of Advisors for the Health Professions, National Association of Graduate Admissions Professionals, Association of College Administration Professionals, American Association of College Registrars and Admissions Officers.
I enjoy music of all kinds, especially the blues and old rock & roll. I’m also interested in Martin Guitars, Old Farm Tractors, dogs, and baseball.
