Maanas Peri is a Graduate Coach with InGenius Prep. Maanas is a Masters in Engineering candidate in the Computer Science program at Cornell, based in the Cornell Tech campus in New York City. Maanas’ academic focus revolves around fintech, where he and his studio team are exploring ways to harness technology to help international students navigate the intricate financial landscape in the United States.
Prior to his Masters’, Maanas attended UMass Amherst, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. During his undergrad career, Maanas co-founded Aventure Trading, a fintech startup dedicated to bringing complex investment strategies to retail investors through a robo-advisor mobile application. He also played a pivotal role in establishing the UMass ACM: Product Management Club, where he and his team unraveled the profound influence of products on our perspectives through insightful breakdowns, case studies, and market trends analysis. Maanas’ passion for product thinking seamlessly integrated with software engineering during his internship as a Full-Stack Engineer at Fidelity Investments, where he honed his technical and product management skills. Lastly, Maanas joined UMass’ HCI-Vis Lab as an undergraduate researcher, where he and his team published a paper on the post-prevalence of student engagement in virtual classrooms in the ACM Creativity & Cognition Conference.
