Hey there! I’m a Graduate Coach currently pursuing my MBA at Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management out in Evanston, Illinois.
I was born in Taiyuan, China, where I lived for nine years before moving to a completely foreign environment in Toronto, Canada. Growing up in a diverse city such as Toronto, I was able to experience the intricacies of many cultures from around the globe, mostly through food. The ability for food to bring cultures together led me to work at a global food company after completing my business undergrad at Ivey Business School. While working, I made an impact on a variety of brands in the portfolio in functions such as supply chain, sales, and most recently revenue management.
Throughout each major stage of my education and career, I’ve been fortunate to have several amazing mentors. It will be extremely fulfilling to pass on what I’ve received to others. I’m excited to help every candidate discover what they really care about in a career and craft a story that brings out the uniqueness in their skills and backgrounds. Especially for international students such as myself, I hope to be a sounding board and bridge to connect your culture to the American culture, much like how food was able to for me growing up.
Outside of school and work, I love discovering new restaurants, talking about basketball (go Raptors!), and planning my next hiking trip. Looking forward to working together!
