Hi there! I am a Graduate Coach with InGenius Prep, currently based out of Jakarta, Indonesia. I am originally from Indonesia, but I’ve lived just about equal amounts of time between Los Angeles, California and Jakarta, Indonesia. I consider both to be “home.” I received my undergraduate degree from UCLA where I majored in Psychology and minored in Applied Developmental Psychology, allowing me to receive my certification to be an Early Childhood Director and Master Teacher. In my time at UCLA, I was also a tutor with the literacy club, a member of the Indonesian student body club, and a sprinter on the UCLA Club Track Team.
Upon graduating, I moved to Jakarta to teach at an international school. Here I have had the opportunity to create and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum into the school’s program. I have also coached elementary boys’ soccer and lead initiatives for the teachers and staff to exercise together. My favorite part of working with students in different capacities is watching them grow and develop, getting a little better each day. As a teacher, I am a huge proponent of keeping things as simple as possible by helping my students break down huge goals into smaller, much more manageable ones.
Outside of work and working out, I love exploring. I am a huge foodie and avid traveler. I especially love exploring beaches, mountains, and waterfalls. Fun fact! Indonesia has over 17,000 islands, and my goal is to visit as many of them as possible.
