Nicole Kim is a Graduate Coach with InGenius Prep based in New York City. As a communications and content design professional, Nicole Kim brings her writing experience and a compassionate mentoring approach to her role as a Graduate Coach. With Bachelor’s Degrees in English Literature and Ethnic Studies from Brown University, Nicole has a strong foundation in critical thinking and cultural awareness that she utilizes to create inclusive and supportive environments where students can strive for their educational goals.
At Brown, Nicole actively supported students of color through programming at the Brown Center for Students of Color. She contributed to The College Hill Independent as a staff writer and section editor, and as a former Writing Fellow at the Sheridan Center for Teaching and Learning, Nicole honed her skills in academic writing and tutoring. She served as an Academic and Executive Function Coach, supporting neurodivergent students and those with executive function challenges—developing students’ academic subjects, organizing, planning, and time management skills. Nicole’s experience working with students from a variety of grade levels and abilities has given her the essential skills to help her mentees overcome challenges and strive for academic success.
Nicole seeks to empower students to grow as learners, writers, and individuals by fostering spaces where they can explore their passions and reach their full potential. Her empathetic and collaborative approach to coaching allows her to build meaningful relationships with students and encourage them to reach greater heights. At InGenius Prep, Nicole is excited to work with aspiring scholars and positively impact their academic and personal journeys in college and beyond.
