Hello! I am a Graduate Coach at InGenius Prep based in St Andrews, Scotland where I am pursuing a master’s in Museums and Heritage Studies at the University of St Andrews.
I grew up between Washington, D.C. and Chicago, IL. and moved to Atlanta, Georgia to attend Emory University, where I graduated with Highest Honors in Middle Eastern and South Asian Studies and a minor in Art History. At Emory, I worked as an Admissions Fellow in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions for three years. While in that role, I discovered the joy of working with students from the beginning to the end of their college journey. Upon leaving my role at Emory, I sought the graduate counselor position at InGenius to continue building relationships with students and guiding them through their educational journeys.
I have held multiple museum positions including working as a Curatorial Assistant in the American Art Department at the High Museum of Art. I also worked in the Education Department at the Michael C. Carlos Museum managing the K-12 school tours program and planning public programs. During my undergraduate and master’s degrees, my research has focused on the provenance (ownership history) of British colonial collections. I am particularly interested in collections from West Africa and South Asia.
In my free time I have been a lifelong dancer, specifically ballet, modern, and jazz. I am an avid international traveler, and I love yoga, baking, and embroidery. I also enjoy reading fiction and am always happy to read your book recommendations!
