I am a Former Admissions Officer with InGenius Prep, based in Westfield, New Jersey. I earned my Master’s Degree in Social Work from New York University and a Juris Doctorate Degree from Rutgers Law School. I also hold a Certificate in Diversity and Inclusion from Cornell University. My personal mission is to make a difference in the lives of others. As an Admissions Officer at Columbia University Graduate School of Professional Studies, I advised prospective applicants, helped to lead admissions information sessions, met with candidates for admission, and collaborated with senior administration to create a robust recruitment strategy. As a practicing attorney, I help my clients to obtain the legal assistance they require.
I know firsthand that one of the most important decisions that a student can make is applying to and getting accepted at a top school of their choice. I have the experience and expertise to help my students reach their goals. My background in social work adds to my innate ability to empathize with students, understand their unique needs and goals, and help achieve them. I leverage my well-honed writing skills, my wide ranging experience with and understanding of the graduate school application process to provide a high-touch, personalized service to my students. I am detail-oriented, resourceful, and genuinely enjoy working with students.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two young children, playing with our Goldendoodle puppy, biking, hiking, meditation, journaling, reading, and listening to Ted talks.
