Hello! I am a Graduate Coach with InGenius Prep, based in Chicago, Illinois. I completed my undergraduate education at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, studying psychology, statistics, and entrepreneurship. I am currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
In my past life I assumed many roles. As the Executive President of Dream Corps, an international non-profit, I recruited and organized over 100 students and young adults from all over the world to build libraries and promote reading in rural China. This is where I discovered my passion for helping young talents achieve their full potential, in school, at work, and in life. My interests persisted as I moved on to become a strategic communications consultant at North Head—after two years of helping multi-national brands position themselves in the Chinese market, I eventually combined my professional skills in branding and communications with my passion for mentorship and started my own education consultancy, helping many students tell their unique stories and secure a spot in their dream schools.
As I embarked on my new role as an MBA candidate at Chicago Booth, I grew ever more fascinated by the graduate application process and how both the process of self-discovery and school selection can make a difference in one’s professional career. Additionally, having gone through the MBA recruiting process, I’ve further developed a special interest in helping international students adjust to the US graduate school life and culture, navigating recruiting dilemmas, or just simply how to get the most out of your graduate education experience.
I sincerely look forward to bringing all of these experiences and perspectives to InGenius Prep and helping prospective students develop their most well-thought-out stories that can set them up for success both in school and beyond.
