Hi there! I am currently a PhD student at the University at Buffalo, majoring in Biostatistics. I completed my Bachelor of Science in Appled Mathematics from Nanjing University of Information Science & Technology, graduating in the top 1% of my class. During my undergraduate period, I was exposed to mathematical modeling and became very interested in statistical models and their mathematical principles. During my master’s degree, I came to the Department of Statistics at the University of Washington with a desire to learn more statistical knowledge. I also participated in many interesting projects, such as landslide prediction based on statistical models, remote detection of pulse signals and Multi-sequence prediction based on Hidden Markov Chain. After graduation, I came to the Department of of Biostatistics at the University at Buffalo and continued to pursue my love of statistics.
As a Teaching Assistant in Statistics, I am very happy to assist students with statistical data analysis and machine learning projects. By sharing my experience in data processing, model building and results interpretation, and teaching R/Python programming skills, students are expected to get improvement on the project background.
In my free time, I am interested in cooking and I am also happy to share my private recipes.
