Hello! I am currently pursuing an MD at Harvard Medical School where I had the great privilege of serving on the Admission's Committee, reviewing hundreds of applications, interviewing candidates, and ultimately helping to determine who would be a good fit for Harvard Med. I am delighted to be using this experience to help others get into their dream schools as a part of InGenius Prep! Teaching and mentoring have always been passions of mine, and over the last 15 years I have had the opportunity to engage with hundreds of students. In addition to serving as an admissions coach, I have tutored at underserved elementary schools in Los Angeles, worked as a Peace Corps Health Educator in Northwest Africa, and advised high school students as they applied to college.

In 2005, I graduated from UCLA with a degree in Political Science and French intending to pursue a career in international law. My trajectory shifted after serving in the Peace Corps and working for AIDS Project Los Angeles where I saw the positive difference I could make as a medical professional. I enrolled in Johns Hopkins' premedical post-baccalaureate program where I had an incredible advisor who guided me through every step of the admissions process. Whether it be preparing for the MCAT, drafting a personal statement, surviving the interview trail, or ultimately deciding which medical school to make my home, my advisor gave me invaluable support throughout. With the insight obtained as an Admissions Officer, it is truly a joy to now be offering these same services to both traditional and non-traditional students who are navigating this difficult process.

When I'm not rotating on the wards or working as an admissions coach, I love to bike, paint, write and chill with my friends and family. And of course, I love to lounge on the couch, binge-watch my favorite TV shows, and catch up on much needed sleep.
