I am a former Assistant Director of Admissions at the Kellogg School of Management. Working with Kellogg applicants and students is one of the highlights of my professional career. Guiding individuals through such an important, and often life-changing, process was extremely fulfilling for me. I have also worked for the Searle Center for Advancing Learning and Teaching and the Office of the Provost at Northwestern University. As a graduate student in the Higher Education Administration and Policy program, my main focus was undergraduate retention efforts and developing programs for underrepresented students.
Growing up in a town of 600 people in Minnesota, I yearned for broader life experiences. I knew my key to personal and professional growth would begin with a solid college education. While some felt I would get “lost” on a large college campus, I was determined to succeed. The invaluable growth and enlightenment I experienced during my college career made me passionate about helping others reap the same benefits.
My personal life revolves around my family, which includes my husband Damien and our two energetic young boys. Our family enjoys biking, camping and exploring Chicago’s parks.
