Greetings!  My name is Vincent James, and I am a former Associate Director of Admissions at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. I also served as one of their alumni interviewers.

For over 20 years I have taken pride (and have been successful) in helping students preparing their applications to be as competitive as possible when applying to selective institutions. I am known to be a good listener, and I am able to synthesize information quickly. As you know, many colleges and universities have become more selective than before. I will remind you that it is not the high school you attend that can make a difference but how you present yourself in your application to the admissions committee.

My major hobbies include choral singing and domestic travel (just three states to go to reach 50).
