I worked for seven years at two small liberal arts colleges in Massachusetts as a senior enrollment counselor, international student advisor, coordinator of transfer admissions, and assistant director of admissions before I left to earn a master’s degree in cognitive & educational neuroscience at Harvard University. I also do some research with the Harvard Graduate School of Education and the Museum of Science in Boston, Mass.
I love teaching, mentoring, and working with students! I’ve helped teach classes in Western civilization and in non-Western culture, and edited tons of papers for style/clarity and to help with proper citation style. I’ve loved every moment of having counseled hundreds of students through college application, admission, and enrollment processes in order to attend their school of choice.
During the school year, I volunteer at a place that serves meals to low-income and homeless persons. I spend my free time enjoying coffee and conversation with friends and colleagues in Cambridge, reading everything I can get my hands on at home in Quincy, and building bicycles to ride around Boston.
