I graduated from the University of Chicago with a BA in East Asian Languages & Civilizations where I received departmental honors for my academic work. Through a fully-funded program, I then spent one year at a language institute in Busan, South Korea and two years at Yonsei University Graduate School of International Studies in Seoul, where I received an MA in Korean Studies and International Security & Foreign Policy. While researching mixed race issues, I also served on the board of a peer-reviewed graduate publication, the Yonsei Journal of International Studies, acting as Editor in Chief in my final semester.
After freelancing as an English tutor, translator, and editor for various US and South Korean organizations, I worked at a Korean company in the educational consulting field before joining InGenius Prep’s Korea office. I am excited to continue help students realize their potential in the pursuit of their academic goals.
