I am a Masters in Public Policy Graduate Student at the UC Berkeley Goldman School of Public Policy where I also volunteer as a Peer Advisor, assisting prospective students with crafting their Policy Statement of Purpose (PSP). Outside of the classroom, I work as a Teacher Assistant for negotiations courses taught to undergraduate and graduate students at UC Berkeley, am Vice President of Community for the Haas Education Club, and conduct research on the impact of energy manufacturing clusters on workforce and economic development through the American Jobs Project.
I am a big proponent of increasing access and representation of students with diverse backgrounds in higher education. As Vice President of Mentees for Minds Matter San Francisco, I helped launch strategic partnerships with local high schools to improve the mentee recruitment and selection process, resulting in a 100% increase in applicants and the largest, most demographically diverse mentee cohort in program history. I am passionate about working with students to help them find their voice and be admitted by their top choice programs.
In my spare time, I enjoy attending live music events, volunteering, sipping gin over ice, spending time with my family, adding stamps to my passport, and staying active and fit.
