I believe my experience working in a range of educational settings and with diverse student populations has uniquely prepared me for the responsibilities of this role. I have worked at a number of private and boarding schools around the country, and collaborated with admissions directors in order to better assess a student’s overall academic profile. I actively seek out varied experiences that will expose me to new ideas, change the way I think, and refine my skills. In turn, these opportunities have allowed me to relate, engage, and connect with a variety of students, families, and teachers from diverse backgrounds across ages and abilities.
I describe my work style as collaborative, approachable, and detailed oriented. I enjoy providing academic, emotional, and social support to all students in need of additional assistance both inside and outside of the classroom. I have a professional interest in the educational initiative, Response to Intervention (RtI), and have trained teachers and administrators on how to implement scientifically based class-wide, small group, and individual student interventions.
In my spare time, I enjoy exploring my city and eating local cuisine.
