I am a former Admission Counselor at Middlebury College, and former Assistant Dean of Admission at Amherst College. At Amherst I worked as the Coordinator of International Recruitment, which meant that I read over 1,400 applications annually, both domestic and international. I traveled all over the world to visit high schools and oversaw the committee process for admitting international students.
I absolutely loved working with students to understand US Higher Ed and how to go about pursuing their dreams here in the US. I applied to college as the valedictorian of my public high school class, and I didn’t have much help in putting together my college list. Instead, I learned as much as I could by reading the Princeton Review Guide from cover to cover on family road trips and researching as much as I could. I look forward to giving you more personalized, meaningful guidance as you navigate this process, and we’ll de-mystify college admissions together.
In my free time, I enjoy being outdoors as much as possible. To that end, I am an active runner and cyclist. I always try to push myself to the next level – whether that’s running a marathon, competing in elite-level cyclocross races, or riding mountain bikes on our local trails!
