Hello! My admissions experience spans fourteen years of both admissions office work and consulting. I originally worked in the admissions office at the University of Chicago where I became Assistant Director of Admissions. In my capacity as a reader I reviewed thousands of files, gave commentary, and suggested decisions that helped the Admissions Committee make their final choices. As an Assistant Director, I oversaw admissions from the Chicago area, the region from which UChicago receives its largest number of applications. I read and made decisions on files, advised on scholarship committees, and helped create close ties with stakeholders seeking to address the needs of underrepresented student groups in the Chicago area.
I began my admissions consulting work in Hong Kong, where I thoroughly loved living for two years. During this time I helped students gain admission to a wide-variety of schools ranging from top Liberal Arts Colleges to World-Renowned Research Institutions like Harvard, Yale, Stanford, Oxford, and UBC in the US, UK, and Canada.
In terms of my own education, I am a proud Princeton Tiger! I graduated summa cum laude in anthropology from Princeton and then went on to UChicago where I earned a PhD in sociocultural anthropology.
Though a seasoned professional, I spend much of my quiet time reading philosophy, watching American Rugby, and professional tennis. I also enjoy not-so-quiet time playing with my two Shih Tzus, Leah and Felix. I am thrilled to be working with InGenius Prep and I look forward to meeting students whose needs may vary, but who will all receive exemplary service with our company.
