After growing up in Wyoming and West Virginia, I graduated from Yale College with a degree in Religious Studies in 2002. Since then, I’ve been teaching in South Korea, specializing in preparing students for AP and SAT Subject Tests in history and English.
In the spring of 2019, I plan to begin working on a master’s degree in TESOL at Sookmyung Women’s University, researching aspects of sociolinguistic competence for women in international business, and how TEFL educators can best help women prepare to succeed. Outside of academics, my interests include travel, literature, and listening to music.
With many years of experience helping Korean students apply to high schools and colleges, I’m excited to join the team at InGenius. I love helping young people learn about the world and find their place in it.
