I am a former graduate program recruiter and college admissions committee member at the University of Chicago and at present, I am pursuing a Ph.D. in Egyptian Archaeology at the University of Chicago.
Throughout graduate school, I have worked in our admissions office in various capacities, though my passion is archaeological fieldwork – I’ve worked on excavations in Egypt, Israel, and Spain. I also love teaching – I have taught university courses on gender and sexuality in Ancient Egypt as well as ancient literature, but I’ve also taught 2nd grade summer school and given lectures to high school students about archaeology.
In my free time, I love being active. Running and cycling are my current hobbies. I’m also an avid scifi and fantasy reader.
