Hi! My name is Melissa and I am excited to work with you as a member of InGenuis Prep’s team!
I received my undergraduate degree summa cum laude from Washington University in St. Louis. While there, I worked as a preschool teacher, a volunteer coordinator at a local free clinic, and studied abroad in Chile. After college, I went on to attend Harvard Law School where I worked as a research assistant, conducted independent research, and worked as a summer associate at Gibson, Dunn, and Crutcher. Upon graduation, I was named a Skadden Fellow at The Legal Aid Society in New York where I practice law, representing children.
Working with students and mentoring have long been passions of mine. I have been an interviewer for Washington University in St. Louis for a number of years. I am also a contact person for Harvard Law School’s fellowship office — I assist current students in applying for fellowships by advising them and editing their application packets. Lastly, I work as a practice bar exam essay grader for Themis Bar Exam Prep where I support students as they study for the bar exam. My hobbies are traveling, exploring new restaurants, and hanging out with my partner and our two rescue dogs. I’m very much looking forward to working with you on your applications!
